Welcome to the Team Chong WizWheelz Chronicles! I’m excited about getting into cycling. Now that I have my new WizWheelz Zoomer I’m going places and cover distances I’ve never done before. September 2, 2007: Thank you Paul and Bruce at REI for getting my tadpole tuned up before my big ride!

SDTP (San Diego To Portland) Sept. 10-28!!! I know it sounds crazy but I have found another niche! I love cycling! I want to use my new passion for good causes. The UCP: Ride Without Limits radio ads in January started this whole ball rolling. I solidified these plans after riding in the STP (Seattle To Portland). Kirk and I finished very strong which convinced me to plan the SDTP ride.

The big picture is to ride in the San Diego Ride Without Limits then continue riding to the Portland Ride Without Limits and finish there.

Rides:

STP (Seattle To Portland) 200 miles: Completed!!!

Vine Ride 100 miles: Completed

San Diego Ride Without Limits: Completed

SDTP (San Diego To Portland): Completed

I'd to thank Pam Johnson very much for starting the ball rolling and involving WizWheelz in this new adventure. I’d also like to thank Kirk and Shana for making it possible to get the trike. I’m really grateful to have a best friend that so supportive and willing to go the distance.

Let me tell you how all this got started. In January of this year I heard the Ride Without Limits radio commercial and thought, WOW, that would be a great accomplishment. It was just a thought. A few months roll by and I’m laying in bed thinking I really want to do something big with my life. So I email Ride Without Limits and ask about the ride. I went to the meet and greet and got hooked.
