I Am Project

Ichong.com has implemented the I Am Statement
School Project to an entire middle school!
Ichong.com would really like to say a very
special thank you to Diedre for her assistance
with the I Am Statement School Project!
The I Am
Project is a
self awareness goal setting system that we are developing that will
assist people in finding out who they are. Goal
setting as we know it is focused on social
economical / material goals such as: education,
sports / hobbies, career, house, car,
relationships, family, money, etc. All of these
goals are admirable goals but why aren’t we as
individuals setting goals for who we want to be?
The I Am Project is self awareness goal setting
system that Ichong is developing that will
assist people in finding out who they are and
build a foundation of understanding that will
lead to happiness and success in any direction
you choose to take your life. Besides improving
self-awareness and goal setting the Ichong I Am
Project will help build a social networking
website with a pay it forward model.
We have all thought that we
want to be kind and respectful to
ourselves and others but odds are very few have
thought in detail about how to accomplish any of
our values. There are so many values /
adjectives to describe who we are or want to be
but we haven’t really given them a lot of
thought. (A list of adjectives can be viewed on
the I Am Worksheet
page) Ichong’s I Am project focuses on this
goal setting concept.
Ichong challenges you to build a list of
adjectives that describes you then define them
as how you would use each adjective in your
everyday life. Go to the
I Am Worksheet page and
begin your I Am Statement.
Ichong hopes you’ll
attempt to complete your I Am Statement
online then revisit your statement in six
month to a year and be pleasantly surprised
by the ways you’ve unconsciously improve the
adjectives you listed. Then guess what?
You’ve begun goal setting at a foundational
level.
I Am Project has tested its worksheet at a
middle school.

6th and 7th grades has
received the I Am Project!

the project since September 20, 2006!
